If you have ever attended one of our services you will know that we take a good deal of pride in the facilities that we offer. Whether it is cleaning and waxing down the cars, vacuuming the floors or freshening up the flowers in and around the forecourt, our commitment to maintaining a first-class service is certainly a hands-on matter.
Purpose-built in 1982, our premises enjoy a convenient location in Elgin town centre and feature a privately operated chapel, parking for up to 40 vehicles and a Family Room for use by loved ones prior to a service.
Fully air-conditioned chapel
Our handsomely appointed chapel is fully air-conditioned and is available to host both religious services and non-religious ceremonies. Seating for 170 people is provided. A covered outdoor area can easily accommodate another 50 people standing.
Services are relayed via speakers, with facilities for organ music, CD, tape or MP3 provided as required. An audio induction loop is available for the hard-of-hearing.
A modern central heating system means we have precise control over temperature whatever the season and the two-way chapel glazing allows families total privacy.
Our premises can be found opposite Elgin Bus Station and within walking distance of the High Street, Registrars, Florists, Banks and Solicitors.
William Watson own and drive all their own vehicles. The Hearse, and Premium Saloon cars are all Mercedes and are immaculately presented. They are cleaned and valeted on a daily basis. All cars are black, and the cars you see here will be the cars you will use on the day.
William Watson offer round the clock support for bereaved families
We cover the whole of Moray, but we can transport anywhere in the UK, and arrange world wide transportation/repatriation. We have recently conducted funerals in the Borders, Aberdeen, Inverness, Glasgow and repatriated a gentleman to Portugal.
Yes, we cater for all beliefs, religious and non-religious. Everyone who uses William Watson will be treated without bias or prejudice.
We stock truly eco coffins for burial or cremation, these are made from solid pine from a Scottish sustainable forest, water-based products are used in the manufacture and the handles are of natural fibre.
No funeral director in Moray owns a Horse Drawn Carriage Hearse or a Motorcycle Hearse with a Side-Car, but all can easily be arranged.
